LArGO hydrogel
LArGO hydrogel is a novel biocompatible material. This is a biopolymer which is reduced graphene oxide is evenly distributed in alginate.
It is designed to make a hydrogel which has physical stability and oxidative stress resistance.
By applying cells such as human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hUCMSCs) to this hydrogel, microgels containing cells can be administered to the affected area by injection. Because of the physicochemical properties of LArGO hydrogel, this composition can be used as a new cell delivery formulation that can increase the therapeutic effect by significantly improving the viability of cells.
LArGO hydrogel is a platform technology that can be applied to various cells for therapeutics. It is intended to be applied to develop multiple advanced biopharmaceuticals in the industry. LArGO-UC-MSC applied to hUCMSCs is currentlybeing researched and developed
as a therapeutic medicine for ischemic disease.
